Chicken Florentina with spinach/mozzarella over gnocchi.

It's just so--I mean, it's like--and the sauce--that gnocchi--oh my God--it's just--I DIE.
(Somewhat literally, because this dish has got to be pretty horrible for you, but take one bite and you will no longer care.)

Piccolo's was my go-to when I went to TCNJ, and I still crave it (particularly the aforementioned beauteous gnocchi dish) all the time. The pizza has creative, yummy toppings, and any entree I tried was really good (but granted, I just went for the chicken florentina 9 times out of 10). I never really noticed the service because gnocchi is much more important to me; ditto with price. This place brings out my inner fattie and I'm totally OK with that.

I recently had my daughters wedding catered by Fami and the food was absolutely fabulous. My friends are still raving about how excellent the set up and food was. This made this an absolutely enchanted evening. I recommend Piccolo Trattoria for catering and also for just a great dining experience.

Had a wonderful dinner here last night with friends!!

My family has been going to Piccolo's every Friday night since they opened. We tried other Italian restaurants in the area and found there to be no comparison.  The menu is extensive - I can't go into detail because everything they serve is wonderful. The food is consistently excellent and freshly prepared, the portions are large, the prices are reasonable, the servers are attentive without being overbearing and the bread is awesome well worth the carbs!  

Come in on Friday night and say hello, you will recognize us, as we resemble Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and family.  LOL.
